Ethan's Antarctic Journal - Musings from McMurdo (Volume 2)

My second season was the Summer of 1995-1996. I had originally contracted for a winter-only, but while I was at McMurdo, I found a summer contract. As is typical, they gave me two weeks off (unpaid) in Christchurch between contracts to thaw out and get less toasty. I went home to the States on the second-to-last flight in February.

January, 1996 Monday, 1 January, 1996 Icestock '96.
Saturday, 6 January, 1996 "Room with a View" - one day snowcraft school.
Saturday, 27 January, 1996 Jam session at the Instructor's Hut.
February, 1996 Thursday, 1 February, 1996 Getting to the South Pole.
